Exploring San Diego

Nick was busy teaching TOEFL while I was out having a cool educational experience with students and some of the Connect English staff at Balboa Park! In this picture, Lendryse and Andrea are preparing for the flight simulator at San Diego's Air and Space Museum. Students at Connect English have the opportunity to improve their English in San Diego both in and out of the classroom. This means lots of speaking practice and lots of fun in English. Keep up the great work, Connect students. You are the best in San Diego!

Surfing Spaniards at Connect English in July

A great group of students from Spain came to Connect English in July. In addition to their English classes, they took surfing lessons, toured Los Angeles, visited museums, and even tried In-N-Out Burger. Students like this are exactly why Connect English exists. The Success of Nazari Urbina

Here's one of our favorite success stories: In two months of study at Connect English, Nazari Urbina was able to raise her TOEFL score by nine points. Thanks to this improvement in her score, Nazari was offered a full scholarship to join the Texas A&M University tennis team for the 2009-2010 season. Her focus and dedication to reaching her goals through Connect English have helped her to turn her dream into reality.
